Just a moment of your time gives you access to The SCOOTER Store Deal of the Day and Scooter Tip of the Day!

"Widget" and "gadget" are just funny words for a tool that displays live updates, like a clock or your local weather, right on your computer's desktop. There are widgets in Google, Yahoo!, on Mac—and others. They're FREE — and once you have the necessary widget "bar", you can put all sorts of fun, informative widgets/gadgets on your desktop (and remove them any time). Here's a sample of what you get if you download our special widget:

Instructions for downloading widget for Windows XP SP2, 2000 SP4

(Requires the Yahoo! Widget Bar)
  1. Click this icon Yahoo! Widget and select 'Save'.
  2. Once the file has downloaded unzip the file and double click the unzipped folder.
  3. Double click the 'The TSS Daily Tips' file.
  4. Click 'Open' and then 'Use Widget". The widget will be added to your Yahoo! Widget Bar.

Instructions for downloading widget for Mac OSX 10.3.9 and up

  1. Click this icon Yahoo! Widget .
  2. Double click the 'The TSS Daily Tips' file. and then 'Use Widget".
  3. The widget will be added to your Yahoo! Widget Bar.

Instructions for downloading gadget for Windows Vista

  1. Click this icon Vista Gadget and select 'Save'.
  2. Once the file has downloaded, unzip the file and double click the unzipped folder.
  3. Double click the 'TheScooterStore.gadget' file. Click 'install'.
  4. The gadget will be added to your Vista Sidebar.

Instructions for downloading widget for Mac OS X 10.4 and up

  1. Click this icon Mac Widget .
  2. When prompted click 'install' and then 'keep'.
  3. The widget will be added to your Dashboard.

How to download the Windows Yahoo! Widget Bar

  1. Click this icon Yahoo! Widget Bar for Windows and select 'Save'.
  2. Double click the downloaded file and click 'Run'.
  3. Click through the prompts to install the Bar.

How to download the Macintosh Yahoo! Widget Bar

  1. Click this icon Yahoo! Widget Bar for Mac and follow the prompts to install the Yahoo! Widget Bar.
  2. Double click the 'Yahoo! Widgets' icon and click 'I Accept'.
